Paul Kavanaugh is the Executive Vice President of Ticketing for Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment. In this role, he leads the ticket sales efforts, ticket operations, and strategic planning for all Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center events as well as all ticketing partnerships.
Kavanaugh joined the organization in 2012 as part of ASM Global's opening team at Barclays Center. Since then, he has played an integral role in several Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment initiatives including the New York Islanders' transition to Brooklyn, the re-opening of Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, and several marquee events at Barclays Center. Kavanaugh also created and established a Ticket Analytics team at Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment. He has held a variety of roles within the Ticketing Department before assuming his current role in January 2021.
Prior to Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, Kavanaugh spent time in Ticket Operations with the New England Patriots and Box Office operations for ASM Global at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
A Medford, Massachusetts native, Kavanaugh earned a B.S. in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts and an M.B.A from the University of Connecticut. He resides in Brooklyn with his wife Kristen and their three sons, Paul, John, and Connor.
